To place an Obituary Notice, Card of Thanks or In Memoriam, call The Omaha World-Herald Obituary Desk at (402) 444-1286 or (402) 444-1285 between the hours of 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM Monday-Friday.
Saturday hours are 8:00 AM-4:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM.
The Obituary Desk is also open on holidays from 9:00 AM-11:30 AM.
DEADLINE:
9:00 AM for the same Weekday Evening Edition
2:00 PM for the next Weekday Morning Edition
2:00 PM on Saturday for Sunday Edition
2:00 PM on Sunday for the Monday morning Edition
RATE: The Obituary Consultant will help you with the rates when you call (402) 444-1286 or
(402) 444-1285. All obituaries must be prepaid.

VERIFICATION: All Obituary Notices must be verified before publication. It is standard procedure that
Funeral Homes will place notices for families.
